Am not seeing "I was in a queue this morning" as an option.. looking for "a line" and because I don't answer, it keeps asking me the same question.

Bonjour all,

Thank you for your feedback! All the test questions have been amended to include both UK English and US English expressions for 'faire la queue'

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

Hi Mark,

"J'ai fait la queue ce matin"  --> "I queued this morning"  -- Strictly the grammar translates to

"I have made the queue this morning"  but we don't say that in English, we simply say "I queued this morning"

I suspect this is why you are not getting the response that you expect?

Hope this helps.

Jim

Yes, i know that but that is not an option in the answers.. down to 13% on this one now!. I know the answer they want. Make a line.. but I am asking for this to be made answerable by English students without having to think in American

Fair enough!

I agree with your quest.

there should be provision for both BE and AE.

@ Chris,

Nah!   They don't count.

Bonne journée
