Explication de la grammaire

Salut, pouvez-vous m'expliquer la phrase suivante:

Non, mais on devrait vérifier discrètement quand on ira la voir le weekend prochain.

Pourquoi on utilise le futur simple pour "aller"?

Hi Ash,

If I have understood your question correctly, you are asking why we are using a future tense after 'quand', which is different in English.

If this is the case, please take a look at the following Kwiziq lesson on the use of 'quand' and the future tense.

Using Le Futur after "quand" and "pendant que" instead of Le Présent

Not sure what your question re using « on ira » is - the sentence is referring to a visit that will happen next weekend - 'le weekend prochain' and future tense for aller is appropriate « on ira ». Are you asking why not futur proche, or do you think a conditional tense is required ?
