Hong Kong begin with H. In the exercise is written with  ..DE  Why don't we write ...d' Hong Kong

Hi kalliopi,

the -H of Hong Kong is called aspirate, so it is sounded by the lack of elision (d').

This is why we say -

de Hong Kong
