Could you please tell me if it could not be heard because of the speed of the speech, or if it was because the audio for this segment didn't play at all?

There's a fault. Just a quick sound of static and then nothing.....

Geast exercise. I am listening to it in the end of November and it is clear and remarkably slow.

I could hear most of what she said... I lost points for spelling.

I had no idea how to say "blow your nose" in French but I could hear and phonetically spell the word, all be it, incorrectly.
