Cela ne m'avait même pas traversé l'esprit,
This question relates to:French writing exercise "New town, new friends"
Asked 1 year ago
Hi Jack,
The expression is 'traverser l'esprit' ( to cross somebody's mind) so
quelque chose traverse l'esprit à quelqu'un
and the 'me' is an indirect object pronoun.
Ça ne lui avait jamais traversé l'esprit = It had never crossed his/her mind
Hope this helps!
