I did not find this text very useful. Too much language that we are unlikely to encounter in everyday French.
I have found a number of diving sites that use < plongée libre >, as well as < plongée en apnée >. Decathlon uses both in its advertising, and Collins also translates 'free-diving' to < plongée libre >.
And for snorkelling - Larousse gives < faire de la plongée avec un tuba >, which seems to be about the only expression that gets the red line. (A mask is not essential equipment for snorkelling)

Je crois que le deuxième verbe dans cette phrase devrait être --- Toi, qui aimes tant l'Australie, AVAIS suggéré Alex...
Toi,(tu) est le sujet de la phrase. Ai-je raison?
Can we say … je n’essoufflais plus instead of of je n’étais plus éssoufflé ?
I should know this by now but don't. Please explain why c'est is used and not 'Il est' I would have thought (wrongly) that 'il est' is referring to a specific person and therefore be the correct choice? Thank you
Je pense que c'est le meilleur candidat. Je le pense sincèrement.
Why does the phrase take this form and not 'une lecture analytique d'œuvres' ?
I don't understand why "depuis" is used here despite the fact that we use "depuis" for ongoing actions as stated in the lesson below.
Using the present tense (Le Présent) - and not the compound past (Le Passé Composé) - in sentences with "depuis" (since/for) in French (French Prepositions of Time)
As others have noted the English should be "she went into the small swimming pool', as 'to the pool' does not indicate whether she went in or not.Hello, Why can't we use admettre? j'ai admis ma defaite....
