QUESTION #1 on the short quiz. I love the question and its hint "How would you say ''I haven't been in France for long.'' ?(literally: I haven't long arrived to France.)
The answer: Je ne suis pas arrivé en France depuis longtemps.
Je ne me sens pas intelligent et j'ai l'air stupide comme ça depuis longtemps !!! I think i get it! I know I got it! OOOPS me no get it!!
The hint imposes a thought process on the reader which would not be there otherwise. Clever... it reinforces the understanding of the verb 'arriver' as a sort of process.... and shakes up the marbles in the old nuggin.
However!!! My question. I arrived in France 'yesterday' and I am telling someone today that "I haven't been in France for long". I am thinking it calls for the Present indicative and depuis. Since i was in France as of yesterday(the past) and am still here today (the present).
Je ne suis pas en France depuis longtemps!!!
Without the hint and its imposition of the verb 'arriver' then doesn't this question change dramatically.
Help!!!!!!!
Lots of the translation inferred the conditional ie. "ils nageaient jusqu'à la bouée" , "They used to swim ..." your translation "They would swim up to the bouy". They would swim..., should it not be "Ils nageraint. This is extremely confusing
'I find this couple magnificent." My answer was "je trouve ce couple magnifique." It was corrected:
je trouve ce couple magnigfique.
That does not seem right to me, according to the lesson.
NB... the hints can be misleading here... case in point:
the hint for the quiz says 'faire de nouvelles sandales'
but the answer is Je me fais de nouvelles...
Therefore, if the hint is to lead effectively, you should change it to read:
'se faire de nouvelles sandales'

I think Kwizik always uses "Multiple choice" questions for this section. Could you include a question where we have to write the answer or part of the answer.
I just did an exercise from a textbook on Passe compose. The exercise requires you write the correct form of the words in brackets.
Q-.Combien de femmes avez-vous (Voir)?
My answer was: Combien de femmes avez-vous vu?
But the answer given by the textbook was: Combien de femmes avez-vous vues?
Which answer is correct and why because I know passe compose using avoir does not agree with gender. Help with explanation if I am wrong
Quand tu ________ d'avis, tu m'appelleras. When you change your mind, you'll call me. Answer - changeras (future)

When ı had a look at the irregular adverbs forms I saw that the irregular form of "le plus mal" was "le pire"
isn't it incorrect? Because when I investigated it I saw that it must be "Le pis"
C'est lui qui danse le plus mal He's the one who dances the worst. (I think this is correct)
C'est lui qui danse le pis He's the one who dances the worst. (I think this is correct)
C'est lui qui danse le pire He's the one who dances the worst. (I think this must be incorrect)
Am I wrong?
please help
Slightly better, but still "no cigar" -- Some of the problems are vocabulary, but others are apparently confusion re: the verbs - which tense is appropriate - and when to use "on" instead of "nous"
