The fete was organized by the sisters, so that Beatrice would have been NOTRE cousine rather then MA cousine. I recognized that the exercise said "my cousin" but I figured that as they (sisters) were making it, the cousin would have been one of both of theirs. I guess I overthought what was being asked.....
I'm wondering why there is no article before "étoiles" in the phrase "à étoiles multicolores". I was thinking it would be "aux étoiles multicolores".
the audio for the following phrase is faster than normal. its literally 2x the speed Vous avez les mêmes yeux.
You have the same eyes.Why is je découpais dans les magazines in the imperfect? For me it seems like an action and should be in passé composé.

il est parti avant qu'elle sois arrivée?

Why is it "je viens de Atlanta"? I was marked wrong for d'Atlanta
A bit confused.. just taken a test and this question..
Write "I am in front of the school." : "Je suis ________ l'école."
I used “en face de” which is marked as incorrect. Devant certainly works but why is en face de wrong? Linguee is happy with it!
