TIP: Remember that because of the auxiliary être, the past participle must agree with the subject of the verb.Bonjour,
According to the following cases, there are some cases in which there is "no agreement with the subject" (either the agreement is with the object or there is no agreement at all):
- If no direct object complement (DOC), then agreement with subject (elle s'est brûlée);- If DOC before verb, then agreement with DOC (les doigts qu'elle s'est brûlés);
- If DOC after verb, then no agreement (elle s'est brûlé les doigts);
- If body parts are with à, then no DOC, then agreement with subject (il s'est brûlé aux doigts; elle s'est brûlée aux doigts; ils se sont brûlés aux doigts; elles se sont brûlées aux doigts)
Am I correct or I am missing sth? Thank you very much.

No matter what I do, which speaker/earphones I use, or how many times I switch the playback on my system the sound file examples SIMPLY WILL NOT PLAY. I may as well be reading a textbook and practicing mispronunciation. If I use ANY other site, including the Lawless Spanish site, ALL sound clips play with NO issues whatsoever. I bought this system with a two-year subscription. It has been a useless and costly mistake without being able to actually hear how to correctly pronounce anything. Does anyone else have this problem?
"La fois dernière" = Noun
"La dernière fois" = Adverb & noun
I got a question wrong, looked at this lesson again and got confused by the whole "followed by a clause" thing (tricky to remember) and I thought that maybe this would be a easier way for me to remember it but I don't want to be lead down the wrong track.
Two phrases:
Je pense au match de football de la semaine prochaine.
Je pense à mon mariage le mois prochain.
Question: why preposition "de" is in front of "la semaine", but it is not in front of "le mois"?
where does the 'd' before 'y' come from
Dans cette example : " C'est le vin le plus sec que l'on puisse trouver ", pourquoi on dit " que l'on " mais pas " qu'on " ?

Am I able to say "Avez-vous décidé?'' instead of "Avez-vous fait votre choix ?" in this exercise?
Could someone please explain what "aidée" is agreeing with here? Why is it feminine?
I thought that, “ Nous sommes en train de le finir.” is incorrect since de le becomes du…
