If you love everything (that has) to do with Christmas, you must absolutely go to Strasbourg's Christmas Market. This tradition, which goes back to the 16th century, makes Strasbourg the oldest Christmas market in France. During that period, the city turns into an enchanting snow globe, where the façades and streets adorn themselves with their most beautiful lights, the smells of cinnamon and spices bring back childhood memories and Christmas carols echo in every church. Around Strasbourg's majestic cathedral, close to 300 decorated chalets sell a multitude of products that'll allow you to celebrate Christmas fittingly: (some) original Christmas gifts, (some) handcrafted decorations and of course traditional delicacies like Christmas biscuits and warm wine. A fairy-tale atmosphere that won't leave you cold!
