The verb haïr follows the same conjugation as regular -IR verbs in Le Présent (Indicatif). However, its stem is slightly irregular.

Pronunciation:

- Note that with je hais, you have no elision because here the 'h' is strong.
It is therefore pronounced [juh - é], as opposed to the similar j'ai [jé].

- aï is pronounced as two distinct vowels = [ah-ee]

- Depending on regions, ai can be pronounced either 'é' or 'è'.
