Bonjour Madame !
I would like to ask a question regarding two sentences provided by Kwizbot during my test. I believe you would answer it.
1. Paul, lequel elle fait confiance à, est un menteur.
2. La femme qui j’écris à s’appelle Josiane.
These sentences were to be marked incorrect. But, will the correct sentences be as follows-
- Paul, auquel/ à qui elle fait confiance, est un menteur.
- La femme à qui/ à laquelle j’écris, s’appelle Josaine.
Merci pour répondre à ma question.
Please confirm. The masculine forms bel, nouvel and vieil are used before a noun that begins with a VOWEL. This rule does not apply to a noun that begins with an H? Par exemple: Regarde ces vieux hommes. Merci.
The answer given was boissons fraîches. Is boissons froides wrong??
Is it more akin to “I think he/she is cool/fun” or does it indicate a crush on someone?
For example, "J'ai failli le faire" vs "Il s'en est fallu de peu que je le fasse."
I’m having real difficulty pronouncing this sentence and I’m wondering whether in conversation the « ne » is dropped to ease pronunciation.
