Question: Vous _______ le bus arrive.
My answer: Vous attendez le bus arrive.
I just don't understand why it's wrong.
The correct answer is:
Vous attendez que le bus arrive.
Then you put 2 examples that do NOT use the conditionnelle. I am now totally confused.
Then you use juste sometimes and not others with no explanation.
Please explain full.
I thought when être was followed by a noun or pronoun the subject would be c’est, like c’est mon fils or c’est la mienne. Isn’t celui also a pronoun? Is it because il is also the subject of the verb manger?
In other words, doesn't "Il faut que je sois parti d'ici neuf heures" essentially mean "I'll have to be gone in nine hours"?
