Bonjour! I was wondering why the verb acheter is as achetées rather than acheté ? Do we know that the person who bought the boots is female or is this another rule that I may have missed ?

How does it change if I mean to say "I smell sweat" like somebody else's sweat; not mine.

In other questions to watch a film is regarder. Why is to have seen a film voir, as opposed to have watched? Are btye interchageable or not?

Hi, I have a question. The level A0 tests check "J'habite à ..." as correct, while lessons and tests in A1 level use dans le or en like "Marie habite dans le Minnesota". I can't see the difference on when should I use the à or dans le - en.
