when writing about being somewhere, when do you use à and when do you use de?
Could you please explain the difference between toucher and toucher à? What do they imply?
Please share some examples.
(For e.g., what is difference between - Ne pas toucher à mes clés! & Ne pas toucher mes clés! )
The clue on the 2nd last screen is ' it = general statement ' but there is no 'it' in the sentence being translated, just 'I find that topic really interesting.'
The clue is misleading given the answers suggested, not unexpectedly, use ' ce sujet ' or ' ce thème ' .
On the following screen "I am going to buy it straight away. " In this case 'it' refers to a specific novel, so 'general statement' is not correct either.
I don't think the clue is helpful or necessary on either screen.
Is this also the correct way of framing inversion questions with Object Pronouns??? -
1. L’Aimes-tu? / L'aimez-vous? [Do you like him/her?]
2. Lui parles-tu souvent? / Lui parlez-vous souvent? [Do you speak to him/her often?]
3. Les avez-vous vus? / Les avez-vous vues? [Have you seen them?]
Is the above way more formal, than the intonation method used in this lesson?
Please update the question so that it includes the meaning of the individual words, I am on A0-A1 and it's near impossible to do these questions.
