please do you have something for beginners?
Hi, normally, there is a hint when a proper name is used, but not in this case for Cyril. Is that intentional? Are we supposed to be good enough by now to pick up proper names? :)
Why do some countries not have an article stated?
Is there topic on negative with "Il ya a" Can't seem to find it.
I enjoyed listening to this voice. I had not heard it before, and it's nice to have a new and different voice to listen to. It's good practice to hear various people speak. I also appreciate the intonation that he uses, especially in the phrase..."et avec le temps, notre relation a changé."
It reminds me of the intonations that I used to hear and learned to use when living in France many years ago. I was wondering if the spoken word has possibly changed over time, (maybe due to the advent of social media?), as I don't hear these patterns very often anymore, when using this site or watching french movies on Netflix.
Hi, with reference to “les Belges brassent près de huit cent variétés de bière ?”, “les Belges brassent près de huit-cent sortes de bière ?”, and “les Belges brassent près de 800 types de bière ?”.
I thought that it was not correct to capitalise “les belges”?
Question 1) Comment se sont passées vos vacances ? Should it not have the final 'es' ?
Query 2) If a question is asked using the past tense, can the reply be in the imparfait?
Can anyone explain to me the difference between rien and aucun? Thanks
Je pense que les hints (? en francais) sont pour la dernière éxércise?
More of a comment than a question, but seeing my A0 through B1 levels decline from 100% to 99% today felt like a punch in the gut. I normally only have enough time per week to take tests maybe 2-3 days, so it's been a slow and steady climb for me. I tried to knock 'em out quickly, but of course I made some minor mistakes, and now I'm doing A1 tests instead of the B2 tests I would normally be doing right now. Rough way to start the week.
