I spent a good couple of minutes trying to figure out what she was saying in the middle. I ended up submitting "Il fait trop chaud bon sauce bolognaise!" "Pour une" obviously makes more sense, but did anyone else have trouble making out those two words? It certainly sounded like "bon" to me.

It’s the first time that I’ve come across « faire revenir » in culinary terms. Is it used over « faire dorer » for that manner of cooking or can either expression be used ?
So while you can’t say ‘J’ai des autres chaussures’ , can you say ‘j’ai besoin des autres chaussures?’ More important, how would you say ‘I have some of the other shoes?’ How is that not ‘des autres chaussures’?
In the sentence "tout le monde aide avec les corvées"
1. why is the phase singular if means plurel as in everyone
2. why is corvées feminine? I would have thought corvés as it is a mix of people (potentially)

In the sentence "Julien s'occupe du tri des déchets"
1. why “tri” and not “trie”, I couldn’t find a “tri” in any tenses?

I know that this phrase is incorrect: "Le bâtiment d'ancien où mes parents habitaient", but I also know that sometimes "de" is used with an adjective in similar phrases.
What is the rule about whether to add "de" to an adjective?
I found one of your recent posts awhile back and now I fully understand it. It helped me a lot and now i'm hoping it will help me do better with the tests.

Can one as an alternative to "deux sucettes au caramel" write "deux sucettes caramélisées"? This is in line with phrases like "porc salé" and "bouillon aromatisé".
Or, does "deux sucettes au caramel" imply lollipops that contain pieces of caramel compared to "deux sucettes caramélisées" that implies lollipops with a caramel flavour?
