How can "vous êtes arriv________ en retard" ever be "Vous êtes arrivé or arrivée en retard". It can surely only be "vous êtes arrivés" or "vous êtes arrivées en retard"??
I knew that making it imperfect and adding the "à" didn’t make sense but…. Too funny
Is that pronunciation common?

how about being from a state or country? Are they all « de » somehow I can’t find lessons talking about from somewhere other than cities. Is it:?
