Why is my answer incorrect when I have a hypothetical "si" clause. The lesson said passé composé is never used with a "si clause". The correct answer used future conditional for the verb être. Thank you.
My audio stops at privilégiés and the rest of the sentence is absent. The play button is not on pause but rather play. If I select play, the recording starts again from the top.
In the example 1 x 2 = 2, the translation given is « une fois deux égal deux. » I translate this as « one times two equals two. » Why is « une » used instead of « un» ? In contrast, I see that an another possible translation is « un multiplié par deux. »
is pire only for adjectives and not for adverbs? eg is it correct to say "je danse le plus mal", but wrong to say "je danse le pire"? thanks!
Which is correct:
Nous n'allons pas le perdre OR Nous allons ne le perdre pas?
I was taught that 'qui' was used when the subject of the verb and 'que' when the object of the verb
surly if i say: “elle est ma sœur” or “il est le fils de Martha” that is a correct sentences right??????????? i m sure/ think i ve heard that in french!!!! why shouldn’t it work????
this is very confusing
I know that it means "himself" or something like that, but it can not be a pronoms tiniques because :
moi=me
toi=you
lui=him
elle=her
nous=us
vous=you
eux=them
elles=them
So clearly for il we use lui not soi !
