Hello,
I am very confused why this is the subjunctive and not the conditional. I am still having some trouble between the two at times.
J’achèterai la voiture à condition qu’elle soit en bon état.
I’ll buy the car provided that it’s in good condition.
This seems like it should be conditional because it is saying that *if* a condition is met, something will ensue. Why is it not the conditional?
hi im new here i just want to say hi
Où se trouve ce pont magnifique?
Pourquoi pas pluriel - avec leurs peaux dorées….
Can anyone explain this; la diane means reveille as well as a name
Is the plural used to describe one funeral?
mettez le phrase au passe compose.
il y a des canards dans l'etang.
What are the guidelines for using ‘l’exposition’ over ‘l’exhibition’, because up until now I have always used ‘l’exposition’ to describe an exhibition. In fact, I thought ‘l’exposition’ was unique for exhibition.
I agree that this is a challenging lesson, and agree it’s a lot of information. Maybe a summary table (column 1 having each form of attendre, column 2 giving that form’s meaning/ translation, column 3 giving the sense, whether positive or negative) would help for quick review. I feel that by the time I get to the bottom of the list, I’ve forgotten the nuance of the definitions further up! A quick reference may help. Thanks for considering.
