This list seems a bit incomplete. What about other vocab such as :
rain / rainy
hot / cold / sunny
I’m interested to know how you’d say "this time last year" in French? In English, it emphasises that it’s an exact period ago, so more precise than "il y a un an".
Selon moi j'étudie depuis 2 mois en France = I have been studying in France for 2 months
J'ai étudié pendant 2 mois en France = I have studied in France for 2 months.
Est-ce que c'est faux pourriez-vous m'aider
Pourriez-vous me dire ??????
Quelle est la différence entre
C'est longue/ Elle est longue.
(La liste est longue)
Merci
I continue to get this wrong so I know I must be missing a basic rule:
The sentences :
-Quant aux poses de yoga, leurs innombrables avantages……..
-Finalement, n’oublions pas le côté méditatif du yoga
Why de yoga in the first but du yoga in the second?
Why is "une exposition totalement nouvelle" correct, shouldn't it be "une totalement nouvelle exposition" ?
A little bit to fast for me. I'm (probably) A2 - ie, not quite at the dizzy heights of B1 (That seems to be an impossible dream at the moment).
Having read the transcript and read the translation, I was able to follow most (70%) of what the narrator was saying.
I thought French was supposed to be easy! (It isn't).
I'm killing myself trying to learn it. I'm a doctor and supposed to be smart but French is the hardest thing I've ever done....
HELP!
Brief explanation on how to know when w verb is followed by à, de or pour
Il serait montré = he would have boarded. Il est montré = he boarded. un hélicoptère se serait posé = ...would have landed. ..s'est posé = landed, ...s'était posé = had landed. Am I correct about these tenses and translations? (I don't doubt that the dictée is correct but don't understand the tenses.)
(I don't think this is the plus-que-parfait.)
Merci pour votre comprehension.
