Let's learn how to make a delicious tarte Tatin, French-style! Start by preheating your oven to 180°C. Then, you'll peel and cut six apples into quarters. In a (frying) pan, melt 100 grams of butter with 150 grams of sugar until you get a golden caramel, then arrange your apple quarters in the pan, rounded side down, and let them cook for a few minutes. When the apples have caramelised well, you will carefully place them in a tart pan that you'll cover with shortcrust pastry while making sure to tuck in the edges. Bake your tart in the oven for 30 minutes. When the tart has cooled down, you will turn it over onto a serving plate. Enjoy your slice with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
