Let me start by introducing my dog Lasso (to you), a lovely 3-year-old Dalmatian whom I adopted at the NSPCA [US: ASPCA] when he was still a pup. I should have called him Duracell given how this ball of energy never stops running and exploring! A couple of winters ago, we discovered the beautiful region of the Jura mountains where one can truly recharge one's batteries (while) surrounded by breathtaking landscapes while enjoying the diversity of outdoor activities that this land offers. We stayed in a refuge located in the Mont Tendre region which every hiker has access to without having to book, provided that they are respectful of the place. We tried cani-raquette, in which the dog wears a pulling harness which is connected to a belt that the snowshoeing master wears. We had an absolute blast! I can only encourage all masters to embark on such an adventure with their four-legged companions! As for Lasso and I, we can't wait to pack our backpacks again!
